Reiki to Rest the Mind

Reiki to Rest the Mind is the art of using a light, gentle touch along with Reiki energy at several key points on your head

 
 

Using touch together with Reiki gives greater space and freedom for your energy to circulate. This, in turn, can free up your thoughts, transforming them to bring new, positive uplifting ideas and experiences into your life.

I first learned of this wonderful technique when I received it from my teacher, Billie Topa Tate of the Mystical Sciences Institute in Evanston, Illinois*. When Billie did this for me, it felt as if she had gently opened up and cleansed off the inside of my head. I felt sooo relaxed, and immediately booked a monthly appointment.

Then I asked Billie to teach it to me so that I could bring it to my clients.

What to expect during your Reiki to Rest the Mind session:

Since this process can shift restrictive, crystallized thought patterns to more positive healthy ones, you may wish to create an intention for your session. Examples might be, “To experience confidence when interviewing,” or “To feel calm at social gatherings.”

You will relax on the massage table, face up, with whatever pillows, blankets, bolsters and warm stones bring you the most comfort. We will play soft, relaxing music.

All you need to do is to relax while I gently touch key areas on your temples, cheekbones, behind your ears, and at the base of your skull.

The whole process takes about an hour. You may wish to arrange your day so that you can continue in a quiet and relaxed manner after your session.
